LATEST NEWS!!! - 26th July, 2011

Yikes the months have flown by and I wasn't even 'having fun!' (for the most part anyway).

Alas, I am STILL readying the new look website and after so long of working on that instead of working on the things I do best, I shall be most glad to have it completed! I look forward to leaving the apartment for reasons besides grocery shopping again! No, I'm not kidding. The vast majority of my time is spent in front of my computer and I don't sleep much either.

I have been studying various vocal techniques for both singing and speech and am currently trying my hand at learning RP ('Received Pronunciation'').

I have hit a wall with my comparitively limited programming skills and am seriously considering ditching the blog page ideas I had in favour of the easier but no less time-consuming option of creating YouTube vlogs instead.

My passion for cryptozoology has waned somewhat to become little more than a hobby and I remain ever the sceptic. That being said, I have a friend who is a cryptozoologist and researcher into all sorts of 'mysterious' artefacts and he is the nicest, most genuine man I have ever met. He has collected loads of physical evidence over several decades much of which is very convincing at first blush. However, due to some bad experiences he has been left mistrustful of scientists and does not allow his finds to be subjected to scientific analysis. I doubt most seriously that he would fabricate anything but would not be surprised if he has been duped a time or two or has otherwise drawn incorrect conclusions. I hope someday to convince him to allow for the scientific analysis of his finds but until such time and of course until the results are in, I remain - as ever - sceptical but interested.

I am reconstructing this website currently but all the same, thank-you for stopping by :) I am Johnny Burrows; Sydney- (Australia) based entertainer and much more besides.

Quick bio: -

I have been seen performing on Australian national and community television and in principal roles on stage at the esteemed venues of the Sydney Opera House and Parramatta Riverside Theatres, provided music and narration for documentaries as well as a specially penned song for the closing of the 2010, International Day of World Peace festivities in Cowra (NSW, Australia - home of Australia's world peace bell), performed illusions at corporate functions and sung in various bands & tribute shows.

Besides the professional stuff, I like to dabble in many areas and am particularly passionate about scepticism ('skepticism' as Americans spell it) and promoting pro-active self-education which often both go hand in hand as the old expression says.
